My Approach
Lindsay Anderson holds a Master's in Social Work from the University of California, Los Angeles, and practices as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). Her clinical work brings together Somatic Experiencing®, EMDR, play therapy, family therapy and group work.
Much of what looks like a symptom began as an adaptation to an early relationship. Lindsay treats early attachment breaches and complex developmental trauma as the ground of the work.
As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Lindsay tracks sensation, activation and settling — because somatic symptoms, sleep disturbance and reactivity live in the nervous system.
Individual and family therapy, play therapy, parent support groups and Mommy and Me allow a child's world and a parent's world to be supported at once.
